Best 2 in 1 laptop reddit

I believe I asked this question earlier in 2021, but now after CES I have seen a lot of new and cool 2-in-1 laptops. Are they worth it or is the XPS 2-in-1 still the top dog or is the new HP Envy x360 or other laptops more worth it?

My price point is quite liberal, being around ~1000 to ~2000 since I've been saving up since last year due to my indecisiveness.

A requirement for me would be thin bezels.

A 1080p screen, good trackpad, and long battery life are all wanted but not necessary.

Any help is appreciated and I thank you in advance.

Hope anyone can help... I bought a year ago an Asus Vivobook Flip 14 for studying mostly, but I also wanted to use it for my teaching work... I wanted to used it as a digital board which I could connect via HDMI to a TV or projector I've got in class, and so my students would be able to see displayed on it my explanations...

I've used OneNote, Inkodo, Windows whiteboard, design and drawing apps, you name it... While the cable remains unplugged everything is fine, work is quite fluid, but the second I plug the HMDI into the TV or projector, I can only draw a few lines before the laptop/app becomes unresponsive. Everything goes back to normal as soon as I unplug the cable...

I would also like to point out that this doesn't happen, I tested twice only actually, when I plug it to an actually pc monitor I've got at home...

Any clues?

Hi,

im looking for a new Laptop. It has to be a convertible design. My budget is around 1200. I'll be using it mostly for office stuff, but sometimes I work with Rstudio, where my current Surface Book(1) gets super loud, which is annoying. Also I value a good design and would prefer something that lets me read texts outdoors. Ive been looking at: Dell xps 2 in 1, HP Spectre 360, Samsung Flex/Pro Book etc. but they all seem to have some weakness. I really love the Samsung Style but it seems you cant use these outdoors at all. Anything you could recommend? I should add I absolutely hate Lenovo products with that ugly red dot in the middle

Hey guys, I’m looking for a mid range 2 in 1 laptop for college. I’m an engineering student and would love to use the pens to write up notes on Onenote etc.

I’m currently between the HP Envy x360 13.3 and the Lenovo Yoga 7i. The HP seems the most reliable but more expensive.

What do you guys think and do you have any better suggests? Thanks in advance!

Like I had my school laptop and I have never EVER used the touchscreen besides doing something gimmicky. I mean if your a artist or teacher I understand but, a LOT of people want this ability for some reason??? I just don’t understand why. Fine, I lied, I actually used the touchscreen to open tabs. But that was when I didn’t have a mouse. I got my own laptop now and like it seems so stupid. Why waste money for a function you aren’t going to use? If anyone actually uses a 2 in 1 post a reply below.

Edit: So basically everyone uses it to take notes etc. Should’ve expected that. I mean I use my iPad sometimes to take notes but a Laptop, for me is wayyyyy to big for that type of deal.

Also preferably not crazy expensive.

EDIT: Looks like the ASUS Rog Flow X13 won. (I did more research)

Hey , Im currently using legion 5 as my everyday laptop because I used to play heavy games , but recently I’m thinking about getting a 2 in 1 laptop instead because I will get into university soon and carrying around the 17” legion is too much and 2 in 1 is more convenient for note taking, my question is , Is there a 2 in 1 laptops which can replace it for daily use like browsing, watching netflix and most importantly web dev (need at least 14” , 16gb ram with nice resolution) ? Thanks 🙏 / edit : I didn’t specify budget and country because I just want to see what laptops fit my need , as far as I looked, the surface/lenovo flex 5 matched the best.
