I wanted to love this foundation SO MUCH. But it may be one of the worst I've ever used. I'm 53 and I'm blessed with good skin. I have very fine wrinkles around my eyes, pores that are larger than I'd like and some texture, but I'm the only one who ever notices. I get compliments on my complexion all the time and I'm regularly taken for 15-ish years younger then I am. My skincare routing is tight--I moisturize so much, let everything sink in, blot the extra off, and then seal it in with a moisturizing spray. I do it the Korean way.

I also know how to use cushion foundations and I know you have to let them dry to form a film. I also know you can't go over the same spot twice because the cushion will take up what's already there. I've tried this foundation with and without primer (3 kinds). I've also tried applying it with the included sponge, with a brush and with a damp beauty blender. (I press some out and put it on a palette for the latter two.) But no matter what I do, it looks absolutely terrible on me. It's thick, hard to blend and makes every pore and bit of dry skin stand out. It's not blendable, it's absolutely not buildable and there's zero glow. I look like I'm wearing a mask.

I purchased 7 new cushions a few weeks ago (I love cushions!).' One of these cushions is the Essential Skin Long Wear Nuder Cushion from Jung Saem Mool. I have kept an eye on Jung Saem Mool cushions for a while and when I watched the haul from Rilaccoco on Youtube, I finally decided to buy it. :D I should mention that Coco got the Essential Skin Nuder Cushion which is for dry skin and leaves a dewy finish. I purchased the Essential Skin Long Wear Nuder Cushion which is for oily and combination skin. It leaves a matte finish. I got it in Fair Light (the lightest colour).

Packaging & Texture:

I received a small box in which I found the cushion and a refill.

The cushion comes in a light beige and black case. It looks simple and classic.

A black puff is included in the cushion and also refill. I like that it has a thicker band.

The texture of this cushion is lightweight and creamy. It is easy to apply and blend.

The coverage is amazing! A little goes a long way so you don't need to use much of it. It covers all my scars and redness. Surprisingly it is really moisturizing and doesn't make my skin feeling dry. The finish is matte which is great for my combination skin. My skin looks flawless and natural. Even after 8 hours my skin still looks good and the cushion stays in place. It gets a bit patchy around my nose area after 10 hours but with a quick touch-up it looks perfect again. The longevity is great! Besides that it controls water/oil because my T-zone doesn't look too oily throughout the day. I can also say that it has a brightening effect (probably because of niacinamide as ingredient) and I love the colour! It matches my skin tone really well! ♥ It has a slightly pinkish undertone.

About the smell I can say that it has a floral scent but it isn't overpowering because you can't smell it after you applied the cushion on your face.

My opinion:

This cushion is amazing! I am sooo happy that I have finally found a very good cushion which I really enjoy to use. I highly recommend it to people with combination or oily skin. If you have very dry skin I think the Essential Skin Nuder Cushion would be better for you.
