"Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts" is a TV Special in which we watch some of the cast of the "Harry Potter" franchise celebrating the 20th Anniversary since the release of the first "Harry Potter" movie. There are plenty of interviews and conversations that gives us many insights about the movies. I enjoyed this TV Special very much and I have to admit that I was expecting it anxiously. The combination of the insights that were presented with the cast interviews and all the information given by them, made us understand and see the "Harry Potter" franchise form a different perspective. I also liked the way the cast members talked about the show and the presentation of many behind the scenes moments along with some emotional moments. The direction which was made by Eran Creevy, Joe Pearlman and Giorgio Testi was simply amazing and they succeed on traveled us back in time and have the same feeling as the first time watching the Harry Potter and his friends walking at Hogwarts. Finally, I have to say that "Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts" is an amazing TV show and I highly recommend everyone to watch it, especially all "Harry Potter" fans.

The cinematic future of the Wizarding World (or Harry Potter, for you muggles) is currently in limbo after the lackluster box office performance of Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, earlier this year. Not to mention, the mostly negative public perception of J.K. Rowling suggests that Warner Bros. will have to be careful about greenlighting new films in both the Fantastic Beasts and Harry Potter franchises. To be fair, most probably saw the Hogwarts Legacy delay coming. This is why Hogwarts Legacy offered a moment of respite for the Harry Potter fans begging for something magical and wonderful with little of the political turmoil that currently plagues the property.
Unfortunately, Warner Bros. had lousy news for the excited alumnus after confirming that the Harry Potter RPG prequel, Hogwarts Legacy, isn't coming out later this year. According to Warner Bros.'s latest announcement, Hogwarts Legacy will launch on February 10 next year. To make matters worse, this is only for the Xbox Series S/X, PS5, and PC. If you want to play Hogwarts Legacy on the Nintendo Switch, you'll have to wait for a later date. Judging by what we saw at the Sony State of Play in March, we wouldn't be surprised if it will take at least a year for Avalanche Software to find a way to get Hogwarts Legacy to run on Nintendo's console.
Ultimately, a delay to 2023 isn't the worst thing that can happen to Hogwarts Legacy. This is similar to what happened to Horizon Forbidden West last year. The best part is that it didn't have to contend with other behemoths. Case in point, a December release date, as per the original leaks, would have put Hogwarts Legacy right in the crosshairs (pun intended) of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Warzone 2, and God of War: Ragnarok.
In addition, Hogwarts Legacy would have had to deal with other notable releases like the remaster of FF7 Crisis Core and Skull & Bones. If anything, the only way that Hogwarts Legacy's release date could have been better is if Warner Bros. timed it when the incoming academic year ends. Hopefully, Warner Bros. doesn't use this as a reason to delay the game even further. Speaking of delays, Hogwarts Legacy now joins Metal Slug Tactics and Marvel's Midnight Suns as some of the games that's been pushed back to early 2023.
