It totally works! I have been debating using this product for over a year. Biggest debate was the cost, this isn't the only supplement I take so adding this to my routine meant that my supplements were getting a little costly. I have been using this consistently for 3+ weeks and I'm pleasantly surprised how fast it's working. My hair is feeling silly without any conditioner, I don't mean soft like fluffy soft. It's normally like that. I also have fine thin hair. But already, It's heavier, and silkier. Let's talk nails... I have fast growing nails. Very fast. I trimmed them all the way down a couple days after starting these sups and my nails grew in per usual and they are so much stronger! That was a big shock to me. I haven't broke one nail and I lift weights everyday so I'm very use to broken nails.... what the heck man. I have to say this is working it's magic on me. Being the sup pro I am... I fully understand that absolutely no supplements work overnight. Consistency is key for results. But I think out of all the sups I've ever taken, this is by far the fastest acting hair skin nail I have EVER taken. I do take on an empty stomach and I'm taking 3-4 in the morning, and that's all per day. Says take 6 per day but if I'm already seeing results I'll stick to where I'm at. I am looking forward to seeing what my skin is like 3-4 months in and if there are any improvements. I'll update later...

I’m not one to write a review but I want to share my experience with this product for those over the age of 50... So first, I’m 52 years old. I do take good care of my skin by using good clean organic products (never get Botox or any fillers) I have always had decent skin but started to see dullness and wrinkles when I turned 50 - also being an outside girl I have some sun damage on my face. I was feeling a bit ugly and wanted to try something. Took a chance on this product and I have to say I love the results!! I’ve been taking 6 tabs per day in the AM before breakfast for about 30 days now. Easy to swallow and very little taste. Started noticing results about 3 weeks in. All of a sudden... my face looked sooo much smoother and my hair so healthy. Also I workout a lot and noticed I don’t have as much pain as usually. I’m really happy with this product and the results. I just wish I took a before photo!! So for you 50 year olds out there that are like me and don’t want to get into expensive injection treatments, give this product a try. One thing.... stay hydrated. I really believe this product coupled with being hydrated is the key to my soft skin. Thank you

I had to start looking at vitamin c and d bone strengthening solutions after starting the birth control shot Depo Provera. For those who don't know, studies have shown a decrease in bone density for women choosing to take it. One of my friends suggested collagen, especially because I was looking for hair, skin and nails vitamins as well. Why take a whole bunch of seperate pills when one can do ALL of those things?

I looked over different brands, and prices, and this one seemed to be the most beneficial and cost efficient one. I know 16 bucks for a pillbottle could seem a bit steep, but for 250 pills and a LOAD of goodies, I say it's actually the cheapest solution you'll find. And the best one.

I can't say much about how my bones feel - the purpose of being on these vitamins for Depo Provera uses is to prevent bone loss, so those kind of results show up later in time. BUt it's working out well in just about everything else. My skin cleared up over time, and without me seeing a skin doctor at all. My left knee is still sensitive from the ligaments being torn back in high school, and it tends to get pretty sore when it rains. But not so much while i'm using these pills. In fact, my knee feels even stronger.

As for the hair and nails part, yes, i saw a big difference there too. Because i'm a guitarist, I personally can't stand having long nails. so i always have to cut them. I seriously had to cut my nails practically every day. My hair showed growth through the roots, since I color it. So clearly, even if I couldn't feel any changed in my bones, everything else definitely showed it was working.

I ran out a few months ago, and some of those results have continued, like nail and hair growth. It's not as strong as it would be if I took the pills again (my next bottle is already on its way), but just the fact it's continued working for this long after i'd stop taking them shows the effect that it has on your system. Other things weren't affected the same way, however. My skin returned to 'normal', and started breaking out again. And my knee started getting sore when it rained again. But all those things are to be expected when you stop taking this kind of pill

Overall, very satisfied. Can't wait for my new bottle to get here!

I tore my left distal bicep tendon while training boxing,threw a left hook hard to the body and way too straight out to the side.It was a partial tear and i did not see any doctors or get surgery.I got some supercissus rx and had been on it for about a month when i got this.This seemed to be a good thing to add because i felt a little better pretty fast.It could have just been the healing process was at that stage or the cissus finally kicked in.It was a noticeable difference when i started taking these though.I would say these helped because the healing process was pretty slow and predictable until i took these.It might of been the combination of the 2 supplements together(the cissus might have helped the collagen get to the tendons).This is cheap enough to give it a try and see if it works for you.Im only taking 3 per day now in the morning when i wake up and i still feel pretty much the same.Also i did notice my hair got a little thicker it seemed,my nails grew more and skin looks slightly better too.

I started taking the cissus about 5 months after i hurt my arm,then after a month of just cissus i got on these,2 doses per day for about 3-4 weeks.Now i am taking 3 pills when i wake up and only 2 cissus pills when i eat for the first time each day.A good tip for people who have gone through this is let your bicep heal to the point you can do normal things without pain,then you can start training very light.Don't push too hard at first.You will slowly start getting your strength back.After a while you will hit a plateau,it will still hurt after a few reps to work your biceps with the same lighter weight you would be using,this is the time to take it up a notch even when it hurts.Just do your reps slower and be careful.Start to add more weight,you will see the fastest improvement at this point.Its good to work out when your injury is not severe and at this point it should be ok.I have worked out with all of my less severe injury's and it helped them all,you just have to be careful.

I dislike writing reviews, not only is it time consuming, but I believe most people are as skeptical about amazon reviews as I am. I am not recommending this product, nor advising anyone to do what I am without proper medical advice, or claiming neocell had everything to do with my results.

I started my first bottle about six weeks into radiation therapy to the jaw. I couldn't eat and lost a nearly 25 pounds in less than a few weeks. My skin sagged, my face actually dropped; appeared deformed. I literally had a turkey neck. The radiation caused a large burn scar to the treated area and my skin was cracking, chaffing. These are usual reactions. After taking neocell for about a week a started to notice positive changes to the texture of my skin. Chaffing decreased and the skin over my entire body looked and felt smoother and hydrated. After a few more weeks, beyond the end of the treatment, my skin became tauter, moist, and the sagging began to disappear especially in my face. I look entirely better. Not like post treatment, but better. My doctor was impressed how my skin was healing and improving.

I recently finished my first bottle. My skin is now rejuvenated, firmer, glowing, hydrated and moist, even without lotions. The burn scar has greatly diminished and peach fuzz is appearing. My turkey neck is almost gone! I always suffered extremely dry, layered cracked and calloused skin on my left foot. It seemed incurable. Now my foot looks as if I just had a professional pedicure. I haven't soaked or scaled the foot in months. My eyelashes and brows are fuller, darker and reappearing on the lower lid after over 20 years. I've grown to appreciate how the new mini, post cancer version of me is unfolding.

I'm 67 and have been in pain, serious pain, for the past 18 years. I had been physically active the majority of my life (horses, hiking, kayaking, dirt bikes, motorcycles, mountain & road bikes, gardening) and because of all the activities, I've injured myself a LOT! As I've gotten older, all these injuries have generated good old arthritis in my lower back and both my knees. For the past few years my mobility has gotten to the point I have someone clean my house and do my shopping. I became a sad fat lump. I wanted my life back!!

On top of this, I have had severe plaque psoriasis on the majority of my body since I was 5 yrs old. Recently it has become so bad that it was in my ears and on my face. This has been so discouraging. I became a recluse.

My daughter told me to check out this amazing supplement. Reading the reviews, I was encouraged to say the least! I started taking this 6 days ago and I am totally blown away with my results!! Yesterday, for the first time in years, I went out in my huge yard and started pulling weeds. Normally I could do this for about 5 min and had to retreat to the house and was done for not only the day, but would have been unable to walk the next day. Not this time! I was out there for at least an hour. When I woke this morning I was expecting to crawl out of bed (literally) and to not be able to walk. I couldn't believe it! NO PAIN! Don't get me wrong, my muscles know they did things they haven't had to do in years, but NO PAIN in my back or knees!

Not only am I pain free but my psoriasis is completely cleared in my ears. It's gone! The psoriasis on the rest of my body is changing - slowly, but noticeably. It's on both my legs from my knees to my feet and both elbows.This is not going to clear over night, but I am so very encouraged!

If I could, I'd give this 10 stars! Please, if you have joint pain, order this and take it NOW! I am placing another order and this time will have it on monthly auto order. I have had no side effects to date. My body reacts quickly and violently to things it doesn't like and my body is responding extremely well. No tummy upsets. Just no pain. Thank you Neocell. Thank you Amazon. Thank you, my wonderful daughter, for always looking for something to help her mom. I am getting my life back!!

A collagen supplement was recommended to me, so I tried this one. I think it has been at least somewhat effective. My review is mostly focused on serving size and the ease (or lack thereof) of taking this.

First, according to the bottle, the daily suggested serving is 6 pills. To get the full 6000mg (6 grams) daily serving, you need to take 6 of these. Additionally, the instructions on the bottle (see photo) do not indicate if it should be all at once or spread across multiple times a day.

Second, the pills are large (see the photo with a dime next to pill to show scale). Taking one of these may be difficult for some people, let alone 6.

Third, on the bottle, it suggests that for maximum absorption that you take on an empty stomach (see photo of "Suggested Use" instructions on bottle). For most people, the only time of day when stomach is truly empty is first thing before breakfast. So this implies they want you to take 6 of these massive pills together before you've eaten anything. This is asking for heartburn, and other stomach upset. So I have ignored that suggestion.

There are a few other things you should be aware of. This collagen supplement also contains vitamin C. So if you are taking other supplements, such as a multivitamin, containing vitamin C you may want to consider whether you'll be taking too much vitamin C. Yes, contrary to common belief, it is entirely possible to get too much vitamin C from daily supplements. Additionally this is not a calorie free supplement (in case it isn't already obvious to you that taking a form of protein means additional calories).
