On the performance front, the 2023 Honda CR-V offers two engine options: a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine (190 horsepower) and a hybrid (204 horsepower). Likewise, the 2023 Mazda CX-5 has two engine choices, but not a hybrid: a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine (187 horsepower) and a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine (256
horsepower). For efficiency, the CR-V has the advantage. While the estimated fuel economy figures are not yet available for the 2023 CR-V, they are expected either to be equal to or higher than for the 2022 CR-V. The fully gas-powered 2022 CR-V has an estimated gas mileage of up to 30 combined mpg, and the 2022 CR-V Hybrid has a fuel economy of up to 38 combined mpg. In comparison, the CX-5

Is Honda redesigning the CRThere are no changes to the CR-V lineup for the 2022 model year. However, we've captured some spy photos of the next generation, which is expected to debut as a 2023 model. Along with a cleaner design and the potential for a third row, the next CR-V will likely offer a gas-only and a hybrid powertrain.
How much is a brand new Honda CRV 2022?The 2022 Honda CR-V LX starts at $26,400, plus a destination fee of $1,225. With all-wheel drive (AWD), the CR-V LX starts at $27,900. The SE, EX, and EX-L trim levels of the CR-V start at $27,600, $28,910, and $31,500, respectively. Top Touring trim, which comes with standard AWD, begins at $36,200.
