Can I connect a monitor to my laptop using USB-C?
Connect Two External Type-C Monitors to a LaptopFaculty and staff can connect two external Dell Type-C monitors to a Dell laptop. Show Overview: Cables and PortsEach box should contain a power cable, a Type-C cable, and a Display Port cable. To connect both monitors, you will need the power plug for each, one Type-C cable, and one DisplayPort cable. Type-CThe Type-C cable is a thinner cable, with a small oval connector on each end. Connecting to EthernetTo connect the monitor to Ethernet, you will need a USB 3.0 to Ethernet adapter.Plug it into one of the rear or side USB 3.0 ports on the first monitor (the ports colored blue inside). The USB ports on the second monitor will NOT be active or usable. You will only be able to use the USB ports on the first monitor.
