Khi học tiếng Anh, đầu tiên chúng ta thường học những kiến thức cơ bản như  từ loại và chức năng của từ loại. Vậy chúng ta đã biết có bao nhiêu từ loại được sử dụng trong tiếng Anh?

Hơn nữa, một điều đặc biệt trong từ loại là một từ có thể đảm nhiệm nhiều chức năng khác nhau và cũng tương ứng sẽ được xếp vào từ loại khác nhau. Ngoài ra trong từ loại nếu bắt đầu từ một từ đã biết, chúng ta có thể tạo nên từ loại khác bằng cách thêm tiền tố [prefixes] hay hậu tố [suffixes] để tạo nên một từ loại mới.

Vì vậy, để hiểu được có bao nhiêu từ loại được sử dụng trong tiếng Anh, mỗi từ loại đó được phân chia thành những loại nhỏ nào, chức năng của mỗi từ loại như thế nào trong câu và những kiến thức khác có liên quan đến từ loại. Cách dùng Từ loại Tiếng Anh

1/ Tính từ[ adjective]:Vị trí :Trước danh từ: beautiful girl, lovely house…

Sau TOBE:

I am fat, She is intelligent, You are friendly…Sau động từ chỉ cảm xúc : feel, look, become, get, turn, seem, sound, hear…

She feels tired

Sau các từ: something, someone, anything, anyone……..

Is there anything new?/ I’ll tell you something interesting.

Sau keep/make+ [o]+ adj…:
