Laptop ribbon cable clip

So, I was careless when I was trying to disassembly my Acer Nitro 5 AN515-52 laptop and I accidentally broke the clip on the motherboard that holds the SATA ribbon cable [pic related]. Is it possible for me to come up with an ad hoc fix? Do I need to replace the motherboard or can I just tape the cable there with a piece of plastic underneath the cable, or would that mess up the entire motherboard?

The attached picture shows two sockets, the socket above has an intact clips [USB to MB socket] and the socket below is the broken socket [SATA to MB]
