Q: The reunion, which I already know the first and last, made me more sad.  cái này nghe có tự nhiên không? A:The way it is, the sentence sounds very wrong.
The word "Eventual" is almost exclusively used in the future or past tenses. So you could change the sentence to:

Joseph's eventual reunion with his brother was emotional.
or
Joseph's eventual reunion with his brother will be emotional. A:-I would like to reunion the  relations between me and my old friend A:I went to a high school reunion, and saw my high school friends for the first time in ages.

There was a family reunion after the family separated for many years.

The orphan met his mother for the first time at the reunion event. A:reunion is a noun, reunite is a verb.

I am looking forward to my high school reunion because I want to reunite with some of my old friends. A:An assembly can be any gathering of people, but a reunion means that people are getting back together. An example being some people have family reunions on holidays where the whole family is reunited. A:Make the reunion would imply go to the reunion.  Will you be there?  I will make (it to) the reunion.
You can also say do the reunion to mean the same but it implies you are planning or executing the reunion.  I heard you and the committee are going to do the reunion (at the restaurant).
In conversation I would typically say: Are you going to the reunion? or Will you be able to make the reunion? or Will they have the money to do the reunion? A: What a gorgeous reunion! Even if you havent seen the movie, you must have heard the theme song.

"I vaguely remember the story. A:Neither sound quite right. Eventually means not now, but sometime. Were is present tense, when you use eventually talking about the present it doesnt make sense because eventually means not now (sorry if thats confusing).
So if you want to talk about meeting your son eventually (in the future), you would say:
Well eventually get back together with our son or Well eventually be reunited with our son. Reunion doesnt work in that sentence because a reunion is an event not a verb. A:I am not exactly sure what you mean. alternative phrase:
Lets have a reunion.

Note: the word reunion means a gathering of people so you can omit "of the people". A:I think "The reunion made me sad, as it was the first and last reunion we had. What I already knew made me even more sad" is correct.
Hope this helps, feel free to ask me any questions ️
