Is there a show desktop icon for Windows 11?

Method 1: From Settings app

Step 1:Press Win + I keys together on your keyboard.

Step 2: Click on Personalization in the left pane of the window.

Step 3: After clicking Personalization, Scroll down the page and click on Taskbar on the right side of the window.

Step 4:Click on Taskbar behaviors option at the end of the page.

Step 5: Click on Select the far corner of the taskbar to show the desktop checkbox to enable or disable the Show desktop option on taskbar as shown in the given screenshot below.

Step 1: Press Win + R keys together on your keyboard.

Step 2: Type regedit and hit Enter key.

Step 3: Then, Click Yes on the UAC prompt to proceed.

Step 4:Copy and paste the following path in the address bar and hit Enter key.

Step 5:Make sure Advanced registry is selected on the left pane of the window.

Step 6: Then, scroll down and look for TaskbarSd DWORD value on the right side as shown in the picture below.

Step 7: Double click on TaskbarSdto change its value.

Step 8:Click on Value data and type 0 to disable and 1 to enable the show desktop icon on taskbar.

Step 9: Finally, Click OK to close the edit DWORD value window.

Step 10: Close the Registry Editor window.

Now you can check if the Show desktop icon is present or not on taskbar without system restart.
