Problems with Excel or Word or PDF Office 2010 files to open or does not want to open in Outlook 2010, check the "run as Administrator" function.
Mare sure it runs in Normal mode and NOT Administrator. Go separately to Excel and Word and PDF as needed as disable it.

The run as administrator function was inexplicably enabled, probably through an update on our computers, and the errors were solved immediately after changing the mode. (I did a system restart too before testing.)(It took me 3 days to get behind this problem)
