Caấu trúc so sánh nhất

Cấu trúc so sánh nhất là một loại câu phổ biến trong giao tiếp. Chúng ta thường sử dụng mẫu câu này để làm nổi bật một đặc điểm của chủ thể nào đó, có thể là người hoặc vật. I. CẤU TRÚC SO SÁNH NHẤT

1. Cấu trúc so sánh nhất của tính từ

• Đối với những tính từ dạng ngắn (1 âm tiết) và những tính từ 2 âm tiết trở lên nhưng tận cùng là y, er, ow, et:

S1+ be+ the + adj + est ...

➥ Ví dụ: He is the tallest boy in my class

• Đối với những tính từ 2 âm tiết trở lên trừ những trường hợp đã nêu ở trên:

S1+ be + the most + adj ...

➥ Ví dụ: She is the most beautiful in my school

• Một vài tính từ bất quy tắc

Good	Best
Far	Fathest/Futhest
Little	Least
Old	Eldest
Bad	Worst
…	…

➥ Ví dụ: This is the fathest way from my house to school

2. Cấu trúc so sánh nhất của trạng từ

• Đối với những trạng từ giống hệt tính từ: long, close, fast, low, late, hard, wide, high, early:  

S1+ V + the + adv + est ...

➥ Ví dụ: He runs the fastest in three students

• Đối với những trạng từ dài

S1 + V + the most + adv ...

➥ Ví dụ: 

• Một vài trạng từ bất quy tắc

Ngoài những trạng từ có gốc tính từ bất quy tắc như trên, còn một số trạng từ bất quy tắc như well – best, much – most…

 

II. Ý NGHĨA

1. Dùng để so sánh chỉ ra cái tốt nhất, đẹp nhất, hay nhất

➥ Ví dụ:

Did you go to the party last night? Yes, I did. But I didn’t see you there, where were you? Oh I didn’t come because my parents didn’t let me go. Poor you. That was the best party I’ve ever come to. Really? Why? The music was amusing, the food was the most delicious and we played many interesting games. Oh, I wish I could come. Don’t be sad. There will be other parties, I’m sure.

2. Dùng để chỉ ra người tốt nhất, giỏi nhất, đẹp nhất

➥ Ví dụ:

Hey, how was school?                        It was great! I have made so many new friends, mom. That sounds good. Tell me about them. Well, Peter was the tallest boy in the class, he seems very nice and intelligent. He sits next to me and helps me a lot. Oh, good boy. Is there anybody else?               Yeah, Jenny sits in front of me, but she is not nice at all. She may be the prettiest girl in the class but she behaves really badly.
